The contest winners will have hand sewn, limited edition notations. The alternative selected writer's manuscript will be stapled.

The contest is $10 reading fee with 30 free copies. The alternative submissions have a $20.00 reading fee and there are no free copies.

Send with name, address, phone, and email. Don' send your only copy! If chosen, you will requested to send (with any corrections) your manuscript via attachment.

These are the overall rules for both submissions:

Poetry chapbooks books published. 20-32 pgs, limit one poem per page, including title page, contents, short bio, and acknowledgements. 

No page numbers. 

All type must be Ariel or Times New Roman 11pt. If you have a note or a quote, those will be Ariel or Times New Roman 8pt.

Single spacing.

Line width limit is 50 spaces/letters (highlight longest line, go to “review”, click “Word Count” and it will calculate the number of “Characters with spaces).

Poems must not be longer than 32 lines including spaces.You count down 32 spaces. 


Both manuscript selections will have a choice in covers. They can use one of my designs, or they can use their own artwork/photograph. 

All artwork or photographs must be grayscale.
